So I have been fighting a vibration issue on my old dodge....new u-joints....got the driveshaft balanced.....new steady bearing....I had the tire balance checked in another town.....it was still there but at times was worse. So I decided to take it to a local tire shop and see what they can find. They found two of the 4 rear tires having a slight out of round, and I had one on each side of the back axle. So much made sense then, when I would turn corners the out of round tires would periodically get timed together and shake bad. After messing with the tires and giving them a quarter turn in the rim and re-balancing them the truck have never been so smooth. There are some good employees out there still that actually want to help a guy out. OK Tire in Fort St John has always been next level in customer service. Dan and staff could have just sold me new tires but instead they actually tried to fix the problem and succeeded.

I took the old 99 24v and yanked the 9000lb holiday trailer on a trip. This was the first real pull after converting it to a manual trans. All I can say is I now know why people liked these trucks, it laughs at hills and sips fuel. 18l/per 100km doing the speed limit.
