Researching how to fix my poor tired Honda 2000 generator.

Choke lever so loose it vibrates to on position, no set screw no spring nothing on it can't seem to tighten. Me thinks might be replace carb to fix

Can you tie it back so it doesn’t move? Might be cheaper option than a new carb
I think I'm actually just going to drill a hole in it, and thru the generator body and drop a pin in it to hold it in place.

Creativity fixes a lot of things. Might be hay-wire or hill-billy thinking but hell most of the time things like that work for some time. Good job Tyler!

It's old, we bought it 6 years ago from Cat The Rental Store, so I have zero history on it, it's got a billion hours probably, so its due for some care.
