Trying to get an old diesel tank cleaned and ready to use again. Had some corrosion near valve assy and chipped it up and now its leaking

Do I scrap the project or try some liquid metal where the diesel is seeping through?

Combine is broke down as well so they are waiting on a tech to replace fan shaft bearings on engine
