me too, got lots of them in the back back, don't want them moving into the lawnKill thistles
The best time to spray thistles Ray and Tyler is in the fall after the first light frost. The plant will recognize that winter is near and start putting all its energy into the root system to survive the winter. The only way to kill a Canada thistle is to kill the roots. The plant will completely die then and never regrow back. Any other spray application throughout the summer will just brown the top of the plant and it will regrow through the damaged plant and live another day. I use Heat in conjunction with Round Up because it needs a tank partner and all I am trying to just make the green go away as quickly as possible. Kochia, roundleaf mallow and grasses are what I'm targeting right now. That a farmer trick
So just smack it with some round up after we get a frost? The best time to spray thistles Ray and Tyler is in the fall after the first light frost. 10-4 good buddy. Just be careful if they are around anything you don’t want to kill as Round Up kills all things green. So just smack it with some round up after we get a frost?
