I will get fat if I watch too much TV

Check out Windsor plywood for material for a customer.

and a neighbour has a lathe (new to him), so I will see if they have any blocks.

He has this thing about making all these nice things on a lathe.

I will get him started with a tooth pick holder and maybe a candle holder.

Once he gets into the laminating of the wood, I think he will quit.

He needs too many tools.

 

[ferniesnow]

Like saws and planers, etc..

Clamps for gluing.

It would get real expensive.

I don’t think he will get that far.

But I will get him started and we’ll see how far he goes.

I used to teach that in shop class and I loved it.

 

[ferniesnow]

Made some pretty cool things.

One of the better ones was a spoke clock. The spokes were flat against the wall. Glued two pieces together with a piece of paper in the middle.

Split the paper when they were finished.
