Wife had a moment coming home from Okotoks. Met a car on the highway on a corner and te opposite car passed into her lane just as she went by him and the car behind her had to go to that guys lane to miss him. Crazy slushy roads west of here.

Zero new snow and no drifting here as old snow is glued to the ground from the chinook

That could be scary....... The roads are very bad in and around okotoks. Still vey windy in Calgree

In Elkford, they blamed the winds on logging. Wasn't like that in the olden days they say.
What would they blame it on in Milo other than climate change?
I call it the infamous chinooks. We rarely get strong winds from the NW unless its winter and a big front is coming through like an Alberta Clipper but they last for an hour maybe and blow through. The SW winds in these parts are the damaging ones by far.

Yeah I haven't heard those terms for 2 yrs I bet. Ever since they change the name from Environment Canada to Environment Canada and Climate Change terms have changed or gone away it seems Doug.
