Gas prices going crazy

Pulled into the gas station today more or less just to check the price. It was still $1.529 so I decided to fill up. The B train was there filling the holding tanks and I thought that can't be good; new gas = new price.
My pump was $1.529 for regular and I filled 'er up. I pulled out the receipt and as I did that, I noticed the price on the regular jumped to $1.659. I was a lucky-ducky!
The lady on the other side of my pump let out a little curse as she was just in the process of putting in her card. I'm betting she had to pay the $1.659

Kids saw 178.9 this afternoon for gas.

Gas went to 1.749 for reg, 1.979 for premium today

Saw 1.559 for regular here this evening. Checked gas buddy. Found a few places still at 1.399. Taking jeep into town to top it up.

11cents carbon tax in april, we could see gas well over $2 bucks a liter by summer.
