My Dad use to make a KILLER pan fried steak and I was always bbq or open fire. So his art of pan frying is gone

My wife did one for me a year ago because her dad does them that way. They are in my opinion better than BBQ'ed. I googled it on the internet and tried it first time. Medium rare and crispy on the outside. Was great for my first try and cooks faster than on the BBQ.
