Ray, please explain to me the phenomena of "snow on top" out there in the flatland.....

Good morning

+8 this morning. Apparently, a 100 year old temperature record was broken in Salmon Arm yesterday at 17.5 degrees.

It was a beauty. 2' or 50 cm diameter snow balls completely melted on the school ground yesterday.
