That's awesome. When we lived in the NWT, we would drive south across the Alberta border to go camping in Pine Lake in Wood Buffalo National Park. On the way, there was a large area of garter snake dens. Spring and fall were the times for the gatherings. Literally, thousands down in the limestone on the shore of the Salt River.
