F me... Furniture place our family have dealt with for 40 yrs calls us back and says they don't service what they sell anymore. They have out sourced their service work to another guy who is nice and does good work but terribly slow to respond and doesn't answer his messages promptly. I told the owner that we paid the premium on items in the past because they were local and had amazing service. Now we will shop on price only if service is out of the equation so be prepared to have a sharp pencil from now on. Not sure he liked my response
The world is changing in the retail markets. It used to be businesses fought hard for your sales and service but seeing that slowly disappear as peeps feel they have a revolving door so why worry about someone as someone else is walking through the door all the time?
