Learned a few things today

and needed a few tricks today.

The saddles were for dressed 8x8's

and the client bought them without measuring the 8x8's

 

[ferniesnow]

had to do some fancy cutting on the bottoms of the posts so they fit into the saddles

 

[ferniesnow]

but we gotter done

 

[ferniesnow]

the other beams will be heavy to lift 8' in the air

 

[ferniesnow]

I'm guessing one end at a time and we will get them up there

 

[ferniesnow]

Always like a challenge

and this will be a challenge
