Went to a semi local car show a couple summers ago. Met a buddy and his kid for breakfast and I picked up the cheque. We are walking to the car show and his kid finds a $50 bill laying on the ground. Lucky kid. We walked around for about 2 hours and decided to grab a frozen lemonade. I offered to pay but buddy said no, his kid could buy 3 lemonades with his new found wealth. Kid went ballistic and complained we wouldn't be using his money. His dad interjected and said I bought him breakfast so he could buy me a lemonade. Kid was disgruntled but bought after his Dad looked at him and said buy the fn lemonade or you can walk home. Lmao! Parenting 101.

My son can squeeze a nickel so hard he makes the beaver chit but my daughter is very charitable and now that she is making a great salary usually buys me a meal as much as we buy her one now.
