thnx

buddy had one for his wife same time I had mine

convert was heaver than me coupe ...... thus lower gas milage

beefed up frame for no roof
I read once that ALL convertibles have a beefed up frame, because of no roof.

But was to make the car the same strength and weight, so mileage wouldn't be different in the 2

But that was also a long time ago that I read that

Because someone like me who would enjoy working 3 months a year, doesn't have the inheritance of land or the money to purchase my first quarter, with house and $250,000.00 for used equipment to put my first seed in the ground

Just like I was told about starting my own business from the ground up..... "GOOD LUCK" without having an in from mommy and daddies former company or back pocket

Like I said......being a cattle/pig/chicken/dairy rancher would be a hard gig
No inheritance here. Dad bought the farm back in the day and when he retired I bought it from him at market value. First 5 yrs felt like I was a year behind all the time on money but persevered and pushed through. Worked a sled dealership for 25 years to make extra money to keep the farm viable. Lots of guys in this business have another job to buy the groceries and puts clothes on their kids. Harvest alone can last for 3 months, then there is spraying multiple times, seeding, grain marketing, grain hauling, upkeep on equipment and projects that need to be done all the time. I have more free time now because of how hard I worked in years past. To make a statement that farmers work only 3 months a year from someone not in the industry is laughable at best.
