Both the suspension tool and the open end wrench mounted in my clutch cover fell out today and hammered up my clutches. The faces are fine but they are messed up around the clicker bolts. Can't change clickers now. And the top of the secondary sheave and the adjustment clamp got marked up too!
I wonder if doo will warranty this?

Happened to someone I know

Our dealer had to fight tooth and nail to get it warrantied . basically said it's one time deal only and BRP wasn't going to warranty it at first... hadn't heard of any other incidents until now...

If they don't want to warranty it for you they should at least buy you a steering post bag or something to put the tools in. Can't put it in the rear storage as it will beat the piss out of the tank or fall out and the front storage is for goggles and gloves. Either way I agree that is a dumb place for the tools. Should be strapped in there or in a bag at least.

I remember my salesman showed my the tool holder them told me not to trust it. Even went as far as to put them in a baggy and stick them in the trunk to punctuate the point. This was November.

Clutch cover is proven to work, according to BRP. Unless someone gets out there with an infrared temp gauge and does some scientific testing to prove them wrong, im sticking with the "do no remove" signed molded into it.

Talk to your dealer. I have heard of this being covered under warranty.
