Tires for gravel

Will be for 2014 F250 7.3 diesel. I have just destroyed a set of Toyos in 15K with no towing. Just farming - just lots of gravel driving and pasture checking. I will pull them off for dedicated winters (studded Wranglers). And I am hesitant on Duratracs as they seem to shed rubber on a diesel as well. Any thoughts?

Off topic they didn't make a 7.3L in 2014, on topic I had good luck with Toyo M55's back in the day, not sure if they are still available

I run the m55 tires. Have had good luck with them

Yes they are run them every day in simonette. M55 or nitto severe service basically the same tire.

my vote is for the m55's also, was the best tire i found on gravel.

I bought 18" rims for that reason.... More selection than 20"

Like lots are saying, At our plant most of our fleet trucks found the only tires that would last on the gravel were M-55's. That being said, you are doing right by using winter tires if you drive lots in the winter, they just don't do as well on ice as others.

I think I paid about $1200 installed an balanced when I bought mine Trashy.

I drove a dually for years with a set of m55's,couldn't wear them out!

M55's are like a pigs nose, they dont wear out.

Used 'em lots on the service truck. I think they are made from hockey pucks which might explain how brutal they are in the winter...wicked 3 season tire though.

I have always found them decent in the winter. Can't go too crazy in the winter but never feel too nervous driving it every day or even going to the mountains. Mind you the only other tires I have used were worn out summer tires lol

you need to give yourself lots of room for stopping, siping might help! good in snow though. did lots of miles breaking trail.

I've always had good luck with the Nitto Grapplers, get about 80,000km out of them, spend about 75% on gravel.
