maybe a stupid question, but what do you guys run for air pressure in your tires? just put 26" zillas on my sportsman and the shop thought to try 8 lbs, but for some reason i keep thinking 4-5 lbs. it what it should be at.

i had guy asking me that same question when out on my cat sxs. and i have been running 7 psi year round and never had a problem. that was on mud lite xtr's.

the old 4-5 psi rule used to be standard on the old tires of years ago. now with most tires being radial tire pressure has come up some. just my $0.02

It should say what the max is on the sidewall.Anything lower is your preference as far as ride quality/terrain/load etc.You can got to the maxxis web site they have a lot of info and a help line.I personally run my fronts at max pressure to stop roll under.

I think that 35psi max is when you are seating the bead. I would run 4-5psi with 26's. You may pop the odd bead, if so bump it up to 6 or 7psi. Zilla's tend to hold pretty good, so you shouldn't have a problem.

I put 5 to 5.5 lbs any harder I don't like the ride, its just up to you what you like, if you start out with them on the harder side an as your out quadding you can always let out the air and fine tuning it. It works better this way than having to stop and put air in

I used to run my old 28" Zillas at around 7-8 psi. any lower and I found it popped the bead real easy but they were also 28" on 14" wheels.
