Ya I dont think it really matters if it is 5.5' or 6'. still a short box. If you have long track sleds on a sled deck you are better off having a long box. Common sense IMO.

Mega cab come with the standard short bed, same size as Crew Cab..... 74" I believe.

Yes it does. My 07 2500 is awesome. Everyone always fights for the rear reclining couch and TV...seriously!!
