Just mounted a 8 hp Briggs & Stratton motor to my peddle bike...

I guess that if i run it on Methane the rules dont apply since its a natural substance,,, its not as if there isn't any shortage of bs going around anywho... Ha

Also the peddle assit bikes are exempt for recreational and hunting purposes since they are not classed as an electric bicycle,,, who-da-thunk...

Dosen't really matter since its time to gather up the horses and find the riding tac,,, old Clyde and Lem will ride off into the hills for Isolation time...

Now its find a mask to fit over Clyde's Snooz'er... ha

Here is my solution. You can’t spend time with your family outdoors even in an empty parking lot rollerblading without getting fined, but you can hold up the country’s transportation via rail lines and roads with blockades by protesting. Yet True dumb can break his own legislation by traveling into another province with his family who he was supposedly self isolated from, to the cabin.
So go out west with your family and friends to enjoy the outdoors. Remember to practice social distancing! Very important! Sit on opposite sides of the fire. Of course it has to consist of old tires and pallets. Bring your protesting signs! Enjoy the out doors. Nice quiet protest. Wear your mask. (For safety reasons and to cover your face.) cover over or remove the plates on your vehicles once set up. Enjoy.

I believe the government is caving to environmental lobby rants and will ban fires and OHV all summer using the COVID-19 as the guise. The government does not want us camping or enjoying crown land unless it is a prescribed area that they can charge us a fee. Registration for our OHV and trailers is not enough for the new regime.

I feel you’re right. If you look at where the parks/campgrounds they closed are due to “budget cutbacks” it’s a little too coincidental for me.

Thank god, I always follow OHV bans in the past and usually understand. This time was just too much, within the next 2 weeks I hope to be out camping in a RV with Family riding every day.

What’s the stats? How many of these fires are started deliberately or from someone throwing a cigarette out the window. What did he say? One started by ORV’s. How many ORV’s out over the course of the summer. How many times are you driving and you see someone throw a cigarette out? Just another bs way for them to have an excuse to shut down the West Country like they want to.

many years ago when the crowsnest pass was on fire my buddy was driving through there and tons of cars slowing down to watch the fires and the car in front of him threw a lit cigarette out the window. WTF

All of us can see the 12 or more sides to this coin...

There is alot going on...

This out-break sure adds to the confusion little lone getting the equipment and manpower needed to battle a fire """if""" one was to happen...

And yes,,, the province wide band was a short sighted call on the part of the Ag minister,,, at least our pal Jason is addressing this with the rest of his fellow colleagues and the rest of us... good idea to keep us all on the same page...

It's not as if we haven't seen these fire bands before,,, MD's and Countys can in-act them at their discretion as well...

At least the zone by zone idea works better for a Province that is ruffly 720 long and 389 miles wide,,, what might be dry in 1 area is not the same as the other side thats under water... Ha

Always different ways to look at it for sure...

Alberta is only 700 miles tall? I never measured but I thought it would be more.
