Theft In Red Deer

Have to say thank you to the Lacombe police this morning. I left for work at 5:15 this morning and had the kids 170 Razr in the truck. Got pulled over just leaving town. He was checking to see if I had just stolen the Razr. So there a few police that haven't given up fighting crime.

I think if a guy worded it correctly he could initiate a quick response without admitting any homicidal tendencies....for example: "Hi the 911....my shop has been broken into and the guys are still on my property. I think they are armed. I'm a hunter, so I will hold them off with whatever means I have until you get here". CLICK. When questioned later, "any means" can mean a fishing rod or a big stick.....

thing of it is, that if you own firearms and make that call they may seize your firearms. Whether you pulled them from your gun safe or not. Sad day when the criminal has more rights than the law abiding citizen.
