HP to HP the twin will make more torque than the triple every time.

Post up some dyno sheets that aren't from crayon and show us how much power these mythical big twins are putting out then.
Art's standard race gas 1160 makes around 205/132. Compare that to what a decent big triple makes.

Im talking HP to HP. A 200 hp triple wont even make 120 ft lbs of torque.
Maybe captainjacksparrow will chime in on this he had a cs1260 twin rotary valve triple in a Polaris mtn chassis I beleive he said it dynoed at around 250 hp. It would consistently roost the early rx1 turbos but eventually they were getting around him. He the switched to turbo sleds himself. Dan ran the sled with a 162 length track and at one of the local drags hit over 100 mph in 500ft. I know we were running 600ft on some so not sure which it was? But that's impressive.Forgot to mention CS 1025 triple, a mild trail motor will make 200/119 at 8800 all day long.
Try calling that number tommorow dude... Notice how they havent got any product for a sled newer than 2007.....
DRD I don't get it that triple cracked 100ftlbs at 5700?? I thought triples don't make any tq and if they do its at 9700 rpm??????????????????????????????????????Post up some dyno sheets that aren't from crayon and show us how much power these mythical big twins are putting out then.

I was curious so I called, it does sound like they are open for business, I just got Bruce's voicemail. Website looks new too.

You brought up drag racing. If you look at what holds "stock" class records you will find the same thing.
Not a chance in hell an "affiliated" team will show up anywhere with non-current production engines.
Mark Thompson ran a Lemke triple for years at Jackson, so they can be made to "hill climb" as well.
Is there any PSI engines that still run out there?
You are right!!! The triple I posted above made around 140 ft/lbs at 200HP. My tiny 800 3 banger could only muster 197HP and 112 torque, but compare similar CC engines the story changes.
Give it up LHF, your ET twin will run circles around 8-900 twins but will be dominated by a comparable cc triple. Sorry, you can't change how engines work as much as you wish you could.
Those big twins have a very short life. Psi was living proof of that. I think Ralph has billet twin and a 1500 cc triple. I beleive Ralph said the triple cracked 300hp.Modman let's be fair! That twin is a full race engine if you look at CS's 1019 it makes 270 hp and 144 tq that's comparing apples to apples.Crankshops 1100 triple makes 215 HP at 8800 RPM (yep, that low in RPM.....), PAR's twin 1100 motor makes 221 HP and 146 lb/ft. Same displacement, same power........ 1100cc ALL BILLET MOTOR, Power Addiction Racing

yeah they arent in buisness any more,, i wish they were tho.(if im wrong thats awesome!) they made some killer engines,, buddy of mine still has one. A friend had the 1800 and there is nothing else like it.
