I was lucky enough to visit the Superclamp and Superglide factory started by two awesome brothers from Alberta! I was so impressed with the way they are made and 100% Canadian! The manufactures also told me how Randal and Don are so concerned to keep all work in Canada as well as making sure they are always updated to make them as strong as possible. I have had a set for 3 years and they still work perfectly! Cool our industry is abound with these kinds of companies...support these guys and like them on facebook at Superclamp.net as well as check out their web page as they draw for a free one each month...

The Aluminum and Magnesium gets melted down!! Cool!

The ladle picks up the hot magma to be injected into the press, these are the j-hooks!

This j-hook was cut in half to ensure there are no air bubbles in it...they take every precaution to make sure these are perfect for there intended use!'

Superclamps........... Stand up guy, randall at superclamps, is sending me some parts for my older set of superclamps, free of charge!!! I threw one of the older clamps up onto the sled deck, and through no fault of superclamps, i broke off 2 of the throw handles on one of the clamps. I was fully expecting to pay for new ones, but they are sending me new ones at no charge......... Awesome, and randall was a good guy to talk to(other than being from calgary ....... Lol) ........... Glad i have my superclamps

just dont forget your lock keys like i did when i had my old metal ones....let me tell you they are deffinetly a theft deterant no way were we gettin that sled off the trailer without the key LOL

Always good to hear of a Canadian company doing well and not selling out to a big foreign corporate. Bought 2 last year and best investment I've made as far as tie downs, well worth the money! Would go with rears too but 7' deck doesn't have enough room - most of the track is hanging in the air

Here's what I don't understand about installing Superclamps. What does the front Superclamp II need as a attachment point? My cheapo Triton 8x10 tilt trailer has a threaded hole for the screw-in ski bars. Could that be adapted to Superclamps? What about in the rear, where it is just a plain wood deck with some kind of Al frame?

The superclamps come with a deck hook that should screw into your trailer where your ski bar normally would. You may have to build something to mount the rear hook.

There will be loop bolts that come with your superclamps. They will thread right into the tie down holes on the front of your trailer.

Yes deck hook screws into the same nut that is there for your screw down bars, then use the washer and nut as a back up. For the rear that just goes down into the plywood of the trailer get a big square flat piece of aluminum or use a 1 foot 2x4 and use that underneath so when you torque it down your not just pulling up the plywood. Basically your making the surface area underneath big.
