Had a '96. Was a great sled. Other than the reverse in the chaincase constantly made steel. Good thing the dipstick had a magnet on it lol.

Lots of guys putting Rotax power in those chassis back in the early 90's. 617 and 670's. That was Bakers claim to fame.

The Fuji engine was bulletproof IMO ,not the most powerful in its day but it got the job done. I had a 91 Indy 400 sold it to my brother with 18000 miles on it in 97 and he sold it with just under 24000miles, engine was never touched and worked awesome!!

Yep it was common to put that amount of miles on back home, some days you would put about 250 miles on a day on a good long run. That year in 97 If I remember right was my best year for miles logged, around 6000, 1g of those was on my new xcr 600 triple, triple. God I miss the sound of those engines!
The best sounding triple ever IMO was the 93 xlt 580!

That still rings true today. E-tec reliability in a Pro chassis... would be a thing of beauty.

Well, I never thought I'd see an yamaha with their motor and stickers slapped on an arctic cat, so I guess ya never know?
