My grandpa used to have the old bagphone as well, I think he kept it until they quite broadcasting on analog.

You definitely couldn't get data or anything cool on analog, but that signal carried forever, even now I think you could get better phone reception back then in many places.

Jesus , this was my first phone, I’m still a young guy **** lol

i have one of those it sits next to me in the vehicle and tells me everything i need to know it must be the very first model because its 61 years old

That was the best one out there, would tell you where to go and how to get there without even pushing any of the buttons.
