All tariffs do is incentivize inefficient industries. JD combine costs $2M and it's mostly made in Mexico. Make it in the US and now it costs $2.2M. How is that helping the farmer?
JD combines are NOT made in Mexico. The X9's and the S7 series (rotary) atre made in Moline Illinois. The conventional is made in Germany.

A new X9 1100 with a pickup header is around 1.3 mil...a 50 ft header to go on it will be another 225,000 with a transport....so 1.5 is about where the big one is at today.
The smaller 1000 might save you a couple 100k
