tethercorde plug in ?

i got a used tethercorde today
but no wiringplans or anything
and was wondering if somebody could tell me how to install it

i got my corde conecting o the switch
switch back going out 2 wires which are fed in a conector and the wires are spliced just before the conector to 2 seperate wires with quick connect fittings on them

the tether came of a 99 700 powder special
so i imagine it should fit right on mine ?!?!

i got a 03 800efi mountain cat

There should be 2 brown wires or 1 brown/1 black wire located near the ignition. Plug and play.

Not sure about the Cat and Polaris but I know that some are normally open and some are normally closed (in terms of circuit wiring). You need to find out whether or not the circuit needs to be open or closed for the ignition with the tether cord plugged in.

You should be able to find a stock one and just plug it in like cey800 said, and that would be easier.

well this one is suposted to be a stock one
cause it has the cat conector at the end
im just wondering what those 2 seperate wires are for

Got the same tether on mine, can't remember what those are for, taped them off seperately and then together with electrical tape, plug and played.

Was suprised, usually when adding something aftermarket they have a nice little bonus for ya to do they don't tell ya about that takes forever to figure out, was suprised when I hooked this up and worked just with the main harness
