time to come into the 21st century, where things such as tatoo's piercings, diesel automatics are now accepted in todays culture......and i can find only one other post in this whole thread that relates to not liking tatoo, and doesnt say anything about them being of lower intelligence than those with out......time to realize that what you believe isnt necessarily the truth
Show up to bid a job full of tattoos and see what happens, or a job interview. Sorry to say but a bad first impression and with many people your done.

And as I said VISABLE tattoos. If your at the beach or whatever with them showing who cares. But in a professional working environment they look terrible.

I think the same applies if you have red hair
Never had a issue! But almost had to fire a sub on a out of town job because he was full of tatoos and roared up to the job site on a bike, the quality of work didn't matter and got told to remove the bike or it would be removed for him. So think what you want, many people do not put up with it. Only reason he was hired was because couldn't find someone else, everything else aside I'd hire a person not fill of ink vs full of it.

i would be quicker to hire a guy tattoo'd up who knows his chit than a guy who runs his mouth thinking he knows everything......
If they aren't equal they might get the job. But if they are equal 99% chance no tattoos gets the job, unless it's a RARE case and the person with the choice has tatoos. Don't blame me tatoos are looked poorly upon.

that right there is discrimination my friend, and he could have your ass for firing him due to tatoos and riding a bike, regardless of his work!!! but good on you for being a narrow minded douche....

your right, he has tattoos and a bike, he must be incompetent, a delinquent and out on parole from jail. dont judge a book by its cover douche.

oh and by loosing your virginity, I also mean where money and chloroform are not involved :) How many hurt feeling threads do you have?

not blaming you for anything accept maybe being stuck in the 70's when people actually judged others based on hair and tatoos

The business owner didn't want that kind of stuff around his business, his job his call. The guy got a stunting ticket in front of the place. Sub took it when he got yelled at for it and to park at the back after that. Don't entirely agree with it but it's hard to blame the owner for not wanting that around his business. At first was told if the sub isn't gone everyone is, managed to talk him into keeping the sub. Who wants that hassle though? Like it or not, it happens everyday.

Would you judge someone on speaking English? Would you hire someone who you'd know would be VERY hard to understand vs someone who is fluent in English, everything else equal? It happens all the time. When was the last time you seen fire, ems, or a cops with a visable tattoo or piercing? None, not allowed...because of public image...

Oh my god you sound more stupid with every post. I can't tell you how many firefighters and police have tattoos. Especially memorial tats. Sure they aren't exposed but most police fire emt doc dentist whatever have full body covering uniforms.

I will side with you on one thing. Body tattoos are fine but it takes a certain person to do face tattoos. So I might judge someone on that but really only that

we have quite a few in our town that are on the fire dept. and emergancy responce......I know if I was upside down in my truck in a ditch and the guy running the jaws of life had a tattoo or piercing.....I wouldnt get him to stop and find someone more qualified with no tatts or piercings.......I do believe the head guy that runs the emerangy responce team in town has a fair bit of metal in his face.......and the ambulance drivers have tatts......but what the hell do I know!

Excuse me "Your Royal Prostate"!

Is "almost had to fire a sub" like being almost pregnant?
And you "just about" did that because he had a bike and full of tattoos?
And don't tell me he had a beard and long hair?
And gawd forbid he smoked and used bad language!

We have a corporate policy where attitudes of discrimination and/or harrassment are the first to get you out the door! I have met, worked with, and still work with some of the most skilled, qualified, and professional people that are in the category you so brazenly critique! I know who I would hire.

There are folks that appear to of the straight and "narrow" that are some of the most useless kind, so I fail to understand your shallow rationale! Get over it!
