one can spout off all they want right now but it will all be settled when actual production units hit the snow next fall, I suspect there will be some changes made on all the new models when put into final production

crank HP is only a number, how effectively it is put to the snow is what matters, there are lots of unknowns with the new doo considering all the new stuff (clutches, engine and chassis)

Elevation makes a big difference as well. A car manufacturer trick is to dyno motors at sea level. That is the number they post for the public. Is it a lie....no, is it completely honest....no.

All Dyno numbers are done with correction factors for a variety of conditions. They all display at sea level, how else would you compare numbers from across a country with different elevations and conditions? There is different correction factors, people should be displaying their numbers in SAE correction, while some others, STD, DIN, etc will display higher results.

Well we know two things. One. The doo was the king of the hill last year. Climbed the highest, Was the most reliable, made the most power to the ground, could go in the trees where no other sled could.

Second. No one else did anything and doo added 10hp so numbers or not we don't need to hit the snow to know this thing is going to embarrass everyone AGAIN.

So doo is up to 173hp from the claimed 163 last year?

i work some at a dealer in the winter and the last sled i would buy is a first year out doo
08 xp - crap
10 xp very good
11 etec - recall
13 xm avg
16 xm way better
17 = could be good but likly a disaster
all good if it runs good but trying to diagnose the new fuel injection system with 4 injectors
could be a nightmare
my buddy rides a 14 pro with a 3 " and he goes anywhere i do
not sure why it matters to get 2' higher on a hill as long as everything runs and you can have a beer at the end of the day

Have another drink? Lmao. I know all those pro riders very well and I have told them exactly that. Was just riding with Chris brown last week and took some jabs at him about his pro but he can take it unlike most on here lol. He can put that sled where I can't anyways just a superior athlete compared to me that's for sure.

Maxwell quit it with your "doo is the best bs speech"... You can try to convince me all you want but its all the rider not the sled. We have 600's in our group who can keep up with the 8's all because they know how to ride them. Now obviously there is a limit because of power, but its still all rider. Get your big head out of your as* and take your shi*ty attitude about any sled other than your doo and shove it back up there. You doo riders are sure something else.
