sxr 700 , wont run!!

chicken? so i drive all the way to buttf**k nowhere to take some P.O.S yamaha away from a 12 year old kid, spend probably close to $1000 on gas and bring back a sled that i cant sell here becuz no one wants a short track, wow i see a whole lot of logic in that. plus maybe u should get that thing running right before u try and put it up for pinks, and are u sure ur dad would be happy with u losing his sled in a pinks race becuz u thought it wuz better than it actually is? maybe u should think before u talk

actually i'm almost 16 yrs old. diddent you read that last post?? IT WILL BE RUNNING TOMORROW!!! and my dad rides pretty much the same sled and we both love the , im sure he would race too , and then burn in front of you , lol.:d

first off i think it would only be fair to give this kid a fair chance on each new thread. everyone just started poking fun at him early in the thread. although i know he is a (_____), i dont think it is fair that we torment him when he asked a valid question. once a few opinions are expressed by other forum users and the question has been answered, thats all that needs to be said.

BUT once again various memebers have chosen to feed into this Bull $h1T and here we go again. like it was pointed out before, it makes it duifficult for people to search the forum for answers to there questions and have to read this crap.

thirdly, SX 700 you need to grow up as well. act your age, not 12. u asked a valid question, got a few answers now shut the heck up. (until you have another problem with the yamaha)

ok chit show over. one more qestion , after i ran it out of gas , i bought some fresh stuff from a canadien tire gas station , and put it in , do i still have to drain the gas tank?

omg ur almost 16 wow and ur still as mature as a 12 year old, I dont think u understand that im not driving all the way to ontario to take ur sled away from u, u dont have a hope in hell of keeping up with any of my sleds, if ur gonna bring ur sled all the way to saskatchewan so i can beat u then go for it, but i dont want a yamaha so i would gladly sell it back to u. maybe u forget this thread is about how ur sled isnt running right so callin my sleds that ive never had any problems with junk just seems kinda stupid

Drain and clean your carbs. Drain your tank. Put some good quality fuel in (probably premium... Most sleds call for premium). And run it.

but i bought the reg gas today!! it should be good quality gas! never had any probs with the station before! but if i should then i will!!!

Check your owners manual or look around on the sled. It should specify somewhere if premium is required or not. The sled will run on regular but will run better on premium IF it was made to do so.

on my dads srx it runs premium , but mine is a sxr (the more chilled one) it does not say anyware on the sled about running premium.
