I already have the deck style hooks bought already. Think I’m just going to put some 6x6 aluminum or steel plates underneath. Like you guys said, if that rips through I have bigger problems lol

Supertracs are pretty cool and good for the rear but not ideal for a long piece like that for the front that slides. I agree with with ya, use the D hooks you have and a backing plate or even more solid idea is to get a hold of neilsledder on here and get him to weld ya in some aluminum brackets or tubing. dude is a master and will hook ya up.

Hey guys, first winter running Superclamps on my deck. Center hook seemed pretty easy to instal, but what should I do for the side ones? There are no support tubes running where I think the hooks should be installed. Is running it through the 1/2” plywood sufficient?

What are you referring to side ones, do you mean if you had two sleds on the deck? They would go through the crossmember like the center one.
Im surprised that deck didn’t come with super clamps, my crosstrax deck is 10 years old and it came with superclamps.

Extensions are cheap for that deck btw.

Unless I don’t know how to run a tape measure but I don’t see how the cross members line up between the skis when there is two sleds up there??

Ya. I need to go look at mine. I thought they came with a plate for hooks.

It looks like there are little plates for hooks but my math didn’t work out for it to be centred. Seemed like they were still 4”” too short.... maybe I don’t know how to run a tape measure lol I’ll double check tomorrow in the day light

Your deck doesn't have cutouts for hooks?

It might of at one point but I bought it used half way through last season with new decking on it

Why do the outside hooks like so much further ahead than the center one? Wouldn’t the sleds still be right up against the head ache rack wether or not it’s 1 or 2 sleds? I hope these aren’t stupid questions but I’ve never ran super clamps before lol

I stole that picture from their website. Looks like a big access door in this particular deck would necessitate having the center hook farther back.

My outside eyes bolt through my sliding leg rails on my X-deck,.. there are holes through when the legs are slid up for a shorbox and back for a longbox
