Well i don't know this Po-Po ..so far has ONLY had this belt blow up (my own fault) and NO other problems. That CANNOT be said about my '08 750 Brute, '07 800 Can-Am, or '06 Honda Rincon efi. They all had problems , some more than others (canned ham), and they are all riden' in the same way on the same type of trails and all got approx. 2000km per yr.
Oh and loaded up with all the accesories etc. they all cost about the same between $16,000 and $18,000 or so.

Not to rub salt in the wound but MAYBE you need to buy a ...... HONDA. A good reliable quad , good on gas, hardly if ever breaks down, no belts to worry about, the list goes on and on. (Just kidding) LOL LOL.
There is good and bad in ever brand of quad, and now that I bugged you my good, old girl (my Honda) will probably crater !!
It sure sounds like you got off lucky with only a $500 touch. Did you take it to a shop or a local guy ???

Only problem is the honda wouldn't have enough HP to pull the trailer never mind a quad lol (joking) Seriously have you seen the 2011 hp ratings.......honda is at the bottom by a wide margin

Having a good reliable machine is most important in my books !!! With my Honda, I have never professed it to be the fastest or best machine out there !!! I just know that when I go out west, I take my lunch and camera and enjoy the ride, AND most of my buddies are carrying gas, oil, tools, etc., etc. and wrenching on their quads on the trail all day long. I not saying Hondas are bullit-proof (all quads can have issues) but they sure don't seem to break-down as often as others.(in my opinion)
