Sunday Quad Ride!

Going to take my son out for his first rip of the season,anyone else riding on Sunday or want to go for a nice easy ride send me a pm or just post right here.Undecided as to where Im heading yet but likely Hells Half Acre or Long Island Lake!

Spent 4 hours or so touring around Bruderheim with my boy and cannot believe how many people ride without helmets,guys jumping sport quads and doing wheelies..........I guess they are invinceable!Had a good afternoon,was pretty busy and very dry,no real mud to be found!

Lady on her quad yesterday north of Athabasca no helmet, crashed major head trauma, not sure if she will live, and if she does will probably not be the same as before. Apparantly no stunting or anything out of normal trail riding. Just tells you it can happen very quickly.

I grew up very close by................Rode there all the time when we were kids.My dad still goes there with his quad after long weekends and usually makes 30 or forty buck picking up bottles.Whats funny is some of the best riding around is about half hour drive away from there.

No its not a secret,,,,,,,,,,You could go to Bembos Post Camp....17 kilometres.........you could go to Greg River Cabins...........add 5 more klicks to the above.....Heck .......A little farther and there is Macloed River, Campground....Keep Going and there is Merco,Cadomin,Robb,Lovett Staging area(getting kinda close to the mine though),,,,,,,,Oh ya and the closest of all of them is Skidoo Valley staging area!There are more but you get the idea.
And now you know why I dont go to Brule Sand Dunes anymore!
Brule has the best sand though! LOL!
