Commercial Powertrain in Balzac. The only place to get a trans done. Suncoast is great, but with the cost to ship not worth it unless you drop ship at the border.
I wanted to go with him but it was double the cost of what I got done and was brought up in a day. What he builds is more stout but this is all I'll needCommercial Powertrain in Balzac. I wasn't big on having a local shop do a rebuild. Seems there's too much to go wrong, with the 68 at least. They didn't give me a hp rating but said I shouldn't ever have an issue with the power I'm running. 3 year warranty was a good selling feature too...at least something on the truck has itI had PT here in town rebuild my 48re in my Dodge, not that impressed, cost me about the same price as your drop in and mine won't hold 500hp.
I had them build me one years ago. Was a good trans. Lots of miles and 180+ 10 second 1/4 mile passes before it let go.I have a napc built race transmission supposedly handle 1000hp. No problems in the entire time I've owned it. Except sloppy park
Local shop here got it from a place in Edmonton. Not sure where it was. It was 6k installed with a triple disc converter which was pretty decent.
