I did the polishing
Just take your time and use the
mothers polishin ball.. works great!:d
And do it like, 7 times over

ONLY BECAUSE I MADE YOU DOO IT.... BAHAHAHA, BUT IT DOES LOOK GOOD! I HAD TO DOO THE FINAL WIPE OF WAX AND POLISH IT!

nope.... Son applied the was, and i wiped it off when dry and just buffed it up with "workhorse" rag.... Shoulda used a cherry rag, woulda worked even better, i bet!

Having been there for all stages of the build...drinking his beer and smoking his cigars...I will say the sled turned out AWESOME. sRic is a real stickler for details and that sled is probably in better shape that when it was new.

well considering I took it on its final Voyage its only fair that I ride it first right? LETS RUN A POLL, but I promise not to wreck it, its for Junior and I would not want to harm it.

GOOD JOB, cant wait to see it in action, p.s. dont put the big brake light rack thing on, steqalth is nice.

i got my rails anodized black as well as my rear bumper and outer boot grips on the runing boards and it was cheap and looks great will post pic's in a day or so

I have thought about dooing the skid rails too... I will be pulling the skid out anyway, so maybe, just maybe?? What did they charge you for the skid powdercoat??

i did mine this summer to. i think it was around 200$ which seems like alot but they told me powdercoating aluminum is a differant process so its more expensive than steel to do. but well worth it


and my skid has way more travel than that. i had a suspension geometry problem after reinstalling all the parts. haha

Sled look awesome!!! Update us all on how the ride goes, you doing anything special for the brake light to clean it up? Check out Fourbarr industries, would look real nice on your sled with an LED bar.

ordered an '07 x model taillite and wiring and tunnel protectors for the harness..... Will look stock, and good...... Better than the big rack and lite bar that supposed to go on it.
