I just picked up my first bought sled here in Canada and I got it registered. Back home we always just had a sticker but now this is a full small license plate. Are there any regulations of where I have to put it? Where do guys mount it?

I put it in my back pack or the storage behind my seat on the xm. I refuse to drill holes in my sled! I would put a small sticker on.

If you have a skidoo it fits perfectly under the seat where the manual goes

Just toss it in your sled bag. As long as u have proof its properly registered and insured you will be good.

That is the answer I was hoping for. I have only seen a few plates on sleds. I didn't even like putting the stickers on, I have to get the warning stickers off asap as it is.

Unfortunately there are regulations of where it has to be placed. I am reminded of these "regulations" every time I am asked to present my registration to a "peace officer" or RCMP. Whether or not they are enforced is another matter. Once I show the officer the condition of my plate and discuss with them the number that have been lost due to the mounting requirements the "mounting requirements" do not seem to matter. I believe the regulations in Alberta state that the plate has to be mounted either on the front or the rear of the OHV within clear visibility. I carry mine with me either in my pack or in the tunnel compartment.

How do you remove the seat on a 2013 800 XM Sp (non X) Model? I bought mine used about a month ago and heard that the manual is under there but I haven't been able to get the seat off.
Might be a good place to toss mine then pleads ignorance should I get asked for it!

Reach your fingers in the front of the seat where it meets the console and you'll feel the plastic type lever. Squeeze towards seat and pull back on seat.
