how do i strait pipe my 550 rmk trail i saw one before and i liked it better than stock anyone know how

that was probally a aftermarket pipe with its own stinger

nop it was just pipe welded together

wouldnt do it if i were you, first before you do it, take your can of your sled and run it like that, i bet you will lose lots of power and make sre you have another pipe icase you reuin the other one in the process

i really dont think thats a good idea your can is designed to help create back pressure you will lose power by going straight pipe

A buddy of mine made a straight pipe for his 670 summit, It lost all the back pressure, run like crap and after he put the stock pipe back on he had lots of promblem with pistons going.

It did sound mean and loud but i would not try it if i were you

Definately wouldn't straight pipe it, as others have said, the engine needs some back-pressure to run properly.

do it if you want to screwup your machine, just get a can if you want a different sound.

If you do this, please film it and post on here. I took the can off my dads 92 MX 470 when i was a kid and ya, sounded awesome but no power. Didn't wreck anything as i only drove it around the yard for a minute or so.

i know on the older 550 modles aaen made a pipe with a stinger im quite sure, but that was on the fan cooled engine dont know if yours is lc or not

its fan cooled are they for the 05 because there the same

no it was a 99 when it was half gen 2 but with the wedge chassis seat and tunnle
