Maybe its time to retire that Worn out Ancient thing!:d
WTF man how do you get 5000km on a belt, My 09 blew one every 700 KM right on the Money!
you just gota bag on it harder.
brp semi synthetic.......
And but what?!
Yamaha? Not till they get the weight down to the other sleds range.
Arctic crap? Yeah I'll buy another one of those. Motor siezed at 34 miles and I wouldn't have gotten warranty except the dealers head mechanic was there at the time. That aside over 30k into my POS and only 400 miles because it never runs? I've been towed back more on my m8 that I ever was on my Polaris.
Skidoo? Might be a contender except I absolutely hate the fact that an American can buy a sled that's built in Canada cheaper than a Canadian can. And I absolutely hate the way they ride/handle. And I'm not too fond of my local dealer.
Polaris? I'll buy a Polaris next with the expectation that it's going to melt down and every mile I get out of it will be a bonus instead of riding a cat. At least I won't be getting bent over by the arctic cat dealership thinking that they're looking out for me. I've always gotten good service from my Polaris dealership.
what......
snowandmud aint here to bash brands! keep that in mind!
Whats wrong with Semi Synthetic, PTek+ Semi Synthetic. Etec= Full Synthetic.
i guess when ya find a good lube you sick to it!!
You sure do. The executives at Polaris seem to have found some REALLY GOOD LUBE!
...so if your driving down the road in your truck and you smoke a rock as big or bigger than your vehicle your gonna be mad at the manufacture when you have all kinds of broken? NO! so stop bitching....sleds arent meant to be driven into rocks...
As per the ride...always ridden doo and always love them. To each their own, but from what ive seen the new pros seem to rip pretty good right out of the box! Good for polairis! They have needed a good sled release for a long time!
So you have never hit any thing with your sled? I find all kinds of stuff below the snow, puts me right over the bars sometimes. Don't see to much damage on my Dragon, the buddy I was refering to earlier that tagged a rock with his skag just got the bill for his XP. Martin farm equipment wants $4800 to straighten his sled out OUCH!!!
