Hi Bogger a tip for you that I have done lots of in the past when buying stocks. When you see it go up like this and you want to pull out just sell off what you initially invested then you are still in the game a bit on that stock. Just a thought.

Pulling profits, many are hesitant to do this because they fomo they could make more. I bought CBDT under .10, SWIS under .10, INTL under .05,.. I have others but 3 to mention is enough, pulled lots of profit and now riding free shares, working on a few other stocks,.. hoping EOY I will have made 6 digits in just profits

Doing pretty well with this, bought at $0.07, up to $0.15 today.

$0.175 now.... 75% on the day nice score..... Where was this one when I was searching out Cobalt and Lithium plays.

I got into First Cobalt Canada at 15 cents in December and it has popped to 30-32 so a nice gain there.... I'm gonna keep an eye on EDDY now too

Lithuium Americas took a 17% hit today bringing it back down to $28, that would have been a nuce one to grab in December when it was around $12

TSX -IAN (Ianthius Capital) Has done me well over time. It paid for 1/2 my convertible when it entered into a merger with MPXI and shot up to $8/share. That deal screwed a LOT of people and there is litigation pending. I simply got lucky because it was in my TFSA and I wanted a toy so I cashed out my IAN and My Aurora Canabis literally days before they both crashed.

Anyway IAN was beaten down to 7 cents in October 2020 with what seemed to be no hope of resurrection Today it closed at 50 cents - double what it was at Christmas on no news. One thing I consider is how many people are in on this stock at $5-$7 and how bad it has been over the past 2 years.... A little bit of good news could go a long way considering it's up over 600% on NOTHING

Totally speculation on my part I still have a little under 1000 shares left over after my big sell off to buy the car

I've been doing ok on copper mnt mining, this year.

But looking to get into the oil sector. Looking for something that's kinda beat up, but with good financials. Alberta based would be nice, but doesnt have to be.

Any suggestions? I wont hold you accountable if I lose a bunch of money lol

I'm thinking Exxon. And maybe a smaller Canadian outfit.

I found it a couple weeks ago in some article from 2018. I was a little leary at first with a $3 million market cap, but I liked what their corporate update said on the 14th and bought in.

I got a little spooked with it today, sold half my shares at $0.14 to retain my initial investment. Oh well, it's all gravy from here on out. Pretty hard to complain about a 100%+ gain in 5 days.

I've done alright a few times with SES.

But they're priced a little on the high end for me today.

2.82 today 26$ in 2014. They Lost some money last quarter, but could be a good one though. Thanks i will look into it.

With the cancelling of Keystone I'm holding off on O&G stocks for now. Between the 2 leaders policies I see limited growth opportunities on the horizon.

Just my opinion of course.

I'm sure there will be somewhere, I'm at least going to let it play out for a bit first. I think Biden is going to announce massive subsidies for renewable energy and EVs, I think I'm going to try and take advantage of some of that.

Right on. I'm not into the EV thing personally. But its has some hype that's forsure.( I do like nickel, copper ext though kinda ev related )

Think we are going to see a commodities boom in 2021 I think some oil companies will do well, some could go broke too. Oil has been chit on for years but I think this dog will have another day and maybe sooner rather than later. Just a feeling.

I've played Calfrac quite a bit.... Made a fair amount on it a few years ago. Got screwed in this latest round wife has shares that were bought at $3.25. Wilks brothers had an ongoing takeover dispute and wanted to buy out for $0.18 and go private. That didn't work out they reverse slit at 50/1 with warrants issued to holders of record, so the current price of just over $4 needs to be divided by 50 so it's like $0.08 right now... I bought a bunch at $0.22 and got my wife's average down to under $1 by buying at $0.12. I'm not ruling them out....

I'm up a little on Trican and I think they have lots of room to grow as well.
I'm down 20% on Suncor but not concerned my price was just over $26 and they will far surpass that in time.
Badger has been good but they are high now... I'm up but not as much as I should be - I partied with their management in Red Deer a few years ago when they were around $17/share and was told to buy in... $39 now but I didn't get in until $28.
Seven generations has been good I got in at $5 but I managed to get the wife in at $1.78 so she's cleaning up $6.95 today
Pinnacle has been good to me a few times - wood pellet production but they are at $10 now so not sure I'd jump in now - they have a tenancy to drop to the $4-6 range but in 2018 were as high as $15.50.

Capital Power has jumped back up to $36 but still pays a 5.65% dividend and I feel they will continue to grow (wife works for them) they are expanding and entering the renewables market.

Just my blubbering opinions... no advice given, no responsibility accepted.

Just sold some Suncor for a nice little gain. Still holding Capital Power as I got in real low. Blackberry is starting to gain. I think their autonomous driving is going to make them grow. Tricon Property has been good. Only real dog I’m holding is Crescent Point but I’m encouraged by the last few weeks. I might just make some money on that one yet.

I've been watching Crecent Point and considering taking a position.... We got in on Capital power around $26
