08 BF -- WANT TO HOLESAW THE S. ARRESTER OUT OF THE EXHAUST, JUST INSIDE THE OUTER RING. LEAVES ME WITH ABOUT A 2" HOLE,

HAS SOMEONE DONE THIS, I WOULD PUT A SCREEN BACK IN..


MINE IS 2 PLUGGED UP, DONT WANT A PIPE.

It can be done, you can even get the after market spark arrestor back in if you want.

Do you not have a screw out plug somewhere on you pipe that can be screwed out and blow the blockage out without having to butcher the arrestor? Most exhaust systems have a plug of some sort.

well you could go on ebay and type in 3D CNC BILLET EXHAUST TIP and find your modle! they have it for virtuly every year.

Yes it has a plug , but the wadding itself is all messed up, wont blow out, I sank it last oct, in some skanky skag and since then my exhaust has a thick like scale all over it and inside baffle, took off the muffler ( what a stupid setup. You can take one pipe off the exhaust and the back cylinder one is straight welded to it, what a joke.) brought the muffler into the sandblaster, shot the entire o.d, blew the hell out it with compressor, and its still plugged.
