I have never seen an outage longer than 8-12sec since spring, until now.

I’ve had mine for 2 years. This is the first issue like this. Any other outage was a matter of seconds. Just hit refresh and you never knew.

Its still working better than explorenet or the Telus hub for me at the best of times.

Oilers are loosing at the moment so that is totally Elon’s fault!

I've been running Starlink for our shop/office for the last month or so. Super impressed with the download and upload speeds compared to Xplornet. Went from 10MBps download to 130Mbps. Unreal. And cheaper per month too.

What is there to talk about? It works awesome and you can travel with it haha.

The billing starts once the package has been delivered though fyi. Not once you start using it.

Did some research last night. I ordered a second one and ordered it as a roam. Go to Starlink website, menu on top right and sign in. Then go to my account and you will see Your Starlink and a plus sign. Click plus sign and then when the next page opens click the roam tab and order. From my understanding when the order goes through the system and you are assigned a dish then you have 7 days to suspend the service without being billed. When you want to use it you can turn on the service and it will bill you for one month.

They are also advertising in motion but they don't clearly say that you need a $2500 special dish to use in motion.

No we are happy with our speed at the house and pay $80 a month. We are through Wifibre. Also know the guy running it and has always helped us out ASAP with any issues

Thinking about the samething my brother has 4 of them for work he said you can cancel the plan when you don’t need it.

Guys are now mounting these to their field truck when working in the patch.

Don’t need a special dish for in motion. They work 100% while driving with the RV dish.
