So confiscated the dish back yesterday, sorry Mike. Installed it on the pole mount, which is way to big they need a starlink smaller pole mount it’s for a 3” pole, most are much smaller. Had to improvise a bit. Survived the storm last night so must be ok.

Speeds are any where between 120 and 260 mbps with 10-30 mbps, no complaints so far.

Was a bit interesting to cancel my previous internet contract at the start. But once I mentioned that I’ve had issues right from the start and you would have records of it. And also I had put a ticket in with tech services and after 35 days someone finally responded that’s a bit long to address issues. “Yep we will cancel your contact with no penalties sir”. All good. So im got a postal return sheet and have to pack it up. Only had for 5 months.

Our numbers haven’t been fantastic either ( out by Morinville), still better than what our TELUS Hub was giving us though, we’re averaging around 35mbps. Definitely not complaining

35 seems pretty low. Are you a long distance from the router? Any speed difference between a test on your phone or desktop?

The StarLink router is on the second floor, I have our apple extreme router plugged in to it, as it has proven whole house coverage , I have done speed tests on my phone with both the StarLink and the apple and they are within a couple mbps of each other. I know it would be better to have it on the lower floor as it radiates up and out, but the current location is the only feasible spot for it unfortunately

I’m in that neighbourhood for speeds too if I check. I stopped checking as shat has actually been actually working. I would have said 40 is my average.

I’m in kinda in the same area as the above poster. I’m between spruce and calahoo.

Ill test my dish at a new spot on the roof now that the snow is gone. But I don’t show obstructions or obstructed down time ever on the stats.

Satisfied customer!

Just got mine setup at my lakehouse about 40 min west of edmonton at lake Isle, just plugged it in, super easy to install and getting about 40 mbps. Service seems to go in and out every once in awhile like its searching or something. Overall its pretty decent, got it so I could install a security system but thinking I might cancel the satellite now as long as I can stream the oilers games

Im still seeing uploads of highs of 210 mbs to 90 mbs, Currently 165.43 And a very small outage time, maybe 10 - 15 seconds very sporadically. Glad I got my dish when I did, people are still waiting.

Paid my deposit exactly 2 months ago, today. Nothing yet.

Good to know was going to order but will wait now

the longer you wait the longer the wait may be...... I'm on contract with Xplornet until October, I'm going to investigate Starlink in September.
