I don't think there will be a 1000 this year. Asked the guys at Martin the other day and they said it's not part of the Ski-Doo "inside rumors".
Just wishful thinking there guys...IMO....

i talked to some of sales staff at martin they are going to some conference we should find out in about 2 weeks, what is new for 09.

I hope all the rumors weren't just swirling around the new 1200 MXZ. Mind you a turbo 1200 xp that weighs 500 lbs might not be a bad sled. I'm sure there is a summit version coming.

Would be a killer sled. Love the power of my 1000 but the sled is on the heavy side.

I would be snowchecking a xp 1000 for sure if they came out.

Nothing I've heard either. If Doo came out with a 1000 XP in the same weight range as the M1000 they would sell a pile of them. But they had better do it right this time. When they released the '05 RT it took them until mid '06/'07 to get the '05's updated and pulling the way they should have out of the crate. That left the RT's with a bad rep. Kind of like the 900 RMK's; same deal there.
