yeah really going fast...... 8 - 12 km over between the 3 tickets - flowing with the traffic. Not that we dont see any red and white plates blasting thru here in BC. dumb comment when you dont know the facts.

Really? I've driven over a million KM's in AB going ten over and haven't got a single ticket, ever.

I honestly can't think of the last time I got a photo radar ticket???? I know I have got 1 hand written ticket in the last 14 years, so needless to say..... BC and AB, don't make any money off of me, and I also pay dirt cheap insurance too.

Next time you are pulled over simply ask for a stern warning. Of course the officer will say something like get bent. Just ask him if he hands out warnings "Will you be beaten by your section commander like a pimp on a #hore?" Where's the money, #itch? Try it some time , its worth the laugh.

I have been traveling between PG and Vernon this summer and have noticed the cops have been setting up Radar at or near the end of passing lanes. That to me is the most chicken s$@* thing I have seen them do. lets set up here so anybody that speeds to 115 or so to overtake a logging or chip truck in a passing lane on the section of road that is designed for just that is poaching...Yes most do speed up beyond the limit to pass a vehicle they have been patiently following behind for the last 20 or 30 km. This is Hands down just poaching.................... Because I have seen this at several different locations on that trip I believe it is being promoted and supported by the ministry....yes sir government orders....

i have a cop buddy it bc.. .worked in the interior.. .anyhow a few years ago he showed me a book the cops or icbc or gov't produced... it said... speeding doesnt kill! Not wearing seat belts and drinking kills so why bother stopping speading? It generates cash to city's remember when Gordon Campbell got elected in BC...he gave the city's back their speeding ticket revenue... not sure if it still happens... but why is it... we have city traffic cops, hwy traffic cops, integrated road safty unit traffic cops, photo radar, light camera's and in alberta sherriffs? Its for cash... then my poor old mom get hit in a left turn lane because idiot in the fast lane decided he needed to turn left too... what did the van city cops do! "oh lady we don't find fault" they took no pictures to prove her point despite both vehicle needing to be towed and now icbc can't find fault so they want to raise both people premium and find them 50 / 50 percent at fault... wtf!

i don't know how Bleeding heart bc found photo radar illegal and we still have it in Alberta... i feel like running the cameras over when i see them...

oh the book writen about speeding was called vision 2010... imhop if you want to save lives...drive the roads... pull over the idot weaving in and out of traffic cutting everyone off... or the ticket the two super b's trying to pass eachother on jack ass mtn while everyone waits then has to try to kill themselves passing said trucks later... and for the love of god make it illegal to hold up more then 5 cars! Sorry for the rant!

I stand corrected. 3 tickets = $480 and they were all in city zones taken by traffic light cameras. Maybe I should have asked why so much higher but I paid them and moved on. Either way, petty chit for going with traffic flow.

The tickets I have gotten recently were $89.00 for doing 118 in a 100 zone and $119.00 for doing 120 in a 100 zone. Was just using these numbers to estimate your speed according to your $600.00 in fines!
