edge of my seat! it was a classic Canada vs Russia game thats for sure! the russians are lucky the net has posts! i think we hit the post like 5 times this game! awesome!

Awesome finish for sure. Too bad they didn't start that about 5 minutes sooner. Went from couldn't catch a break to almost stealing the win. Would suck to be one of those people that left their seats early...

But canada never should have been down 6-1, to begin with........... Wtf? Refs played a bad part in that too! First penalty against canada was the stick in the face from the russia players own team members stick, and we get the penalty?? Then when wedgewood was piled into after a goal??? And the other high sticking where the canadians stick didn't even touch the russian, and he dove to the ice like he was smashed in the face with a 2x4?? And again when the kid slapped the boards with his stick -- that was worth 5 minutes?? And the little slash on the hips we got 2 minutes for, and the russians were slashing at the canadians arms/hands all game? The elbow to the head of the canadian and the russian only got 2 minutes, instead of 5 and a misconduct for the head shot? Also the canadian wasn't a hard spear, as the russian didn't even feel it, i'm sure, but it should have been a 2 minute, not a 5 minute and 10 minute major! Thanks, refs!!! Jus' sayin'

One thing that could of helped team Canada in the first 2 periods was the crowd !!!!!!!!!! Most of the time they where just sitting with their tumbs up their ...... A little more cheering would of helped a whole lot !!!!!!!!
