so, how soon is there goin to be some sled worthy snow? i guess i just want to know how early some of you guys have got out there, in the mountains or elsewhere, in past years. don't forget to let the rest of us know when you find some! dying over here! 2 sleds waiting to see some of the white stuff.

6-8 weeks! With the way the weather has been I'm thinking in the 6 week range......but different valleys and different aspects are definitely different. Some places out here won't be ready to closer to Xmas...

Nov 7 last year on Frisby.....Smokindave i think, usually tries for halloween but he is a little more hardcore than the average rider. Watch for landmines, if there's a bump in the snow, don't hit it.

in 06 i know we had almost 2 feet of snow in our yard by nov 5, i know this because i bought a sled on nov 6.

We have gotten out in the first 2 weeks of Nov past 4 yrs, Remembrance Day at Quartz last year was fantastic with a couple ft of fresh.

Remembrance Day has been pretty much a go in Golden and Revy......not so much in the rest of SE BC.....
