Anyone know where to take my Snowpulse for refills and or service?
I used to take it to Walt Healey's. I've emailed Snowpulse or who ever bought them (Mammut?) and haven't gotten a response.

I don't know about the Snowpulse but I get my BCA re-filled at The Dive Shop at 4652 Macleod Trail South. They only charge $10 too. I think Walt used to charge $20.

The other dive shops in Calgary I called didn't do the avy pack refills.

I tried to get mine done last fall in Cgy.. Couple dealers sell but don't service Snowpulse.

Avalanche Safety Solutions in Golden is where I went. Great shop, knowledgeable and great service..

I haven't been to Golden for a couple of years. Riding mostly Fernie and Shuswap. I'll call the dive shop.

How do you get to Shuswap? It's about 7 hours longer to get to the Shuswap avoiding Golden, speaking from experience!;)

I also give a good endorsement for A.S.S. they have great customer service and are very knowledgeable on the products they sell.

Yeah it's a good drive so we usually don't stop very long in Golden. Sometimes we drive right through. I bought my bag from A.S.S. at the sled show. We used to ride Golden a lot but the drive to Fernie is easier and l love the terrain. Guess I should check Fernie too. :)

Check Valhalla Pure. They sell Snowpulse here.
I've heard the one here will do a refill.

Check with the fire-extinguisher service companies. Centratech in Red Deer does them: thinking that one of the extinguisher service companies in Calgary might also do them.

I got a response from Snowpulse today. Bow Cycle is where they send me. I'm not a huge fan of Bow and will probably go to the dive shop for refills and make a trip to Golden for the handle upgrade and any other issues.

There are no Valhalla Pure locations in Calgary Turts. Thanks though.

I plan on riding the quad around the yard and pulling the cord. Should have done it on my last ride of the season but it was so nice, I completely forgot.

I don't have one, so I'm just asking...... Is it just a C02 canister you need refilled?

What about a place like "OxyPro"? 3000 psi is a lot, and I was thinking along the lines of a "paintball" store. But they wouldn't be able to hit that #

This is where I'll be taking my cylinder.

Do they have the necessary o-rings or whatever needs to be replaced on the canister at the dive shop or would one have to order that stuff from snowpulse?

Scuba tanks and bulk air tanks are 3000 psi which is what paintball shops would fill from unless they had a compressor which then they can do 4500 psi. 3000 psi is very common for paintball tanks that run air. Not to much CO2 around anymore.

I will ask before I bring it in. If not, I'll order the o-rings from A.S.S.
