The CN shack along the tracks by Allen creek.
Glad your buddy is ok.

Never could understand why they sell them without a teather.

Kinda curious as to what kinda tickets or charges get sent his way?
Ridden them ditches for many years and always wondered what would happen if a incident like this did happen.

Just glad your buds alright.

X2... Im sure its gonna start some kind of debate on whether sled should ride in ditches.... not on here but publically. The media will have a hay day. Personally, I love cruising them, but theres a lot of people that have issues with it. Time will tell....

Its against the law for the most part for sleds to ride in ditches of a Highway. So forsure theres gonna be debate on it, it sucks cause we always get the short end of the stick. Accidents happen , look at the millions of toyotas that were recalled for sticking gas pedals?

They got their news storys, and it cost them Millions but did people start yammering their mouth on how driving is dangerous and they should Ban it on all hiways.NO!!!

Maybe the the Pricks we have for Government should be opening more areas to ride instead of closing them, then chit like this may thin out.:realmad:

Isn't ditch banging on a hiway illegal? Jus' sayin'.......... ;)

I believe ditch bangin has always been illegal, but never really enforced. A few years ago the coppers started really clamping down. A least in Strathcona County. Not sure about other counties.

If it would have shut off before slamming the truck because the tether was pulled off, there would have been no accident at all.

You have to fall of for the teather to work, obviously the guy was sketched out otherwise he would have thought to hit the kill switch. , im sure he wouldnt have thought to pull the cord.

Polaris takes safety very serious. If you hold the throttle wide open for more than 4 seconds, the ECM will initiate a sequence where the exhaust side of the piston scuffs, you start to lose compression, then the engine dies.
