snowmobile club in edmonton?

As this will be my first year of sledding I don't know of any local clubs. I'm interested to join a local club and so I'm wondering what's out there and how do I become part of it?

I live in edmonton(millwoods) and work in sherwood park........... I am a member of the fort saskatchewan snow angels......... Closest club to the city. You can see most of the clubs listed uner "clubs" at the very top of the page.

Depending upon where in the city you live there are the ones above as well as the Parkland County has The Trailseekers Snowmobile Club.

depending how far northwest you are, Westlock may also be an option for you

I'm still in Edmonton. None of those are really that close. I like the idea of getting an Edmonton club going. I'd support that.

Alberta beach is only 40 mins from West Edmonton. It just so happens that we are having our first general meeting and meet and greet (wine & cheese) this Saturday November 19th @ 7pm at the Alberta beach Seniors Center. New members are welcome to come sign up, find out info on club rides and events and have a say in future events. we have 120+ km of groomed trails and plan to be very active this comming year.

If you look at the "club section" forum SNOWMOBILE CLUB TALK & INFO there is information on all the alberta clubs.

There was an edmonton club, years ago. Might still be around -- in paperwork only? Anyone know what/why it vanished? I know it was more a Social Club than anything, simply because there are no trails in/around the city, so other club trails would be used. There also used to be a Sherwood Park club, but that too has gone wayside.....
