Trail up is great, land mines all over. 3 feet in the best of places, hit dirt several times today. It was snowing off and on.

Yesterday, We had one guy gerenade in to a rock that was just under the snow. Not pretty, it bent the tunnel by the drive shaft.
He is off to a rocky start. Two weeks ago he tore paddles off of his new 3 track as we were going in to Allan.

I'll be there with a group of 4 riding the 6-8, in either valemount or mcbride depending on snow conditions.

Found our way back to the ant hills and found some good snow in a few spots. I got stuck a lot !!

Still lots of open creeks, rocks and a few stumps. Was good to get out and setup the new machine and burn off some of the break in.

Would you say it's worth the 10 hour drive?

I think it would be, we had a ton of fun, it's staring to get tracked out but we still found good spots. We just rode easy and watched for snow covered rocks. We had no damage to our sleds. Gave a guy rope to tie his ski to his A-arm when he snapped the spindle on his pro in half from a rock.

Our trip was about 10hrs round trip and it was worth it for us.

Hey Beachsled, when was your sled on top of the snow? This is more how I remember it. I can't say too much, it got me too. Still beats working.

There is definately some good snow, a good dump would be great though. They are working hard on the trail but not much to work with.

Oh, by the way, hats off to Spindrift (again) for the first class treatment my little buddy got when he blew a hose on his turbo. You guys are top notch!
