Mark. With a lot of us coming with toyhaulers. I think we will have a main camp and ride to all the spots we want to see.
Hope that works as people won't have a way to haul to different areas.

from where we camp we can go where ever.. its just the plane crash that is on the other side of the hiway and a few miles back east at york staging area...

now like i said before a person can probably take there quad and do the ride from where we are to the york staging area but it means hiway crossings and driving thru town a bit to get to york..
i have done this once but police are not to nice down there with quads driving where they should not... i will look into it with the club down there and see if they have a new way to get there by quad that is not so risky...if not we have to find a way to get to york to stage then.. thats just for the one ride

unless we want to ride over on that side some more.. i have not done any other trails except the plane crash on that side...
the other side we camp on has tons of exploring to do... by the time you do the top rides on the camping side.. you will be dead nevermind the plane crash site...
maybe we can find some one with a big flat deck that we can get everybody over to at least the plane crash ride..

then on our side we have... the repeater ride, grassy moutain( strip mine ride), racehorse pass and deadmans flats.. thats at least 3 to 4 days to cover that...

best to get arff stinkin drunk the first night, then he'll be to hungover/sick to stay up drinking for the rest of the festivities. otherwise we will need several rolls of duct tape to keep him under control

I have been training. Good to go.
5 days a week of crossfit. Look out

i just found out today from a fellow that lives down there and is a member of the crowsnest pass club.. i guess that same weekend there will be a club ride... saturday there going up to Crown Mountain and over to racehorse pass... then down throught the lower deadmans flats and back home.... on sunday there going to grassy mnt which is the strip mine place... the guys doing the leading are excellent leaders and now the area like the back of there hand... now i will have to check and see if any of us want to join in,, we might have to get a membership of 30 bucks to partisate...

just puttin that out there..... those are some of the best places you want to see anyways.. all covered in 2 days... then the ones that come out on wed.. we can do the repeater ride one day and do the plane crash.. i did also hear now there is a way from where we are to the plane crash... you first have to ride to Atlas staging area which is 10 minutes west of Macgilvery and then there is a road that goes to the hiway.. you cross the hiway and then i have to try to find out which way to go...lol

My husband and I won't be able to go that weekend, however we are looking at going down to Crowsnest Pass the following week for 4-5 days. Would you be able to give us directions on how to get there. Would you also tell us how theconditions were on that weekend. Do you know of anyone who may be down there on 31 Aug through Sept 07.
Would you have any maps of the area so we know where the open trails are and their length. It would have been nice to be able to go on the 23rd, but that is not possible and it is too far to go for a weekend. We are east of Edmonton.
Your help is appreciated.

I have holidays booked off from Aug. 24th to Sept. 4th and hoping that I can get off a couple days earlier. Would love to bring the family down there camping and quadding. Will run the idea past her.
